To guarantee stable and secure campus network operation during the college admission period for the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao), the university will suspend all network debugging, testing, renovation and other configuration changes from 0:00 on July 5, 2026 to 24:00 on July 20, 2026. Relevant arrangements are specified as follows:

I. Suspension of All Network System Modifications

All modification operations on campus network, IT CRF, cloud platforms and other infrastructure shall be suspended, including data modification, configuration adjustment, version upgrade, cabling and other works, except for the following scenarios:

• Routine data backups implemented in accordance with established schedules;
• Mandatory version upgrades required to remediate security vulnerabilities (subject to prior submission, review and approval).

Where non-routine backups or extra configuration changes need to be performed on specific systems, a dedicated implementation plan must be submitted and approved before special handling can proceed.

In addition, no drills that may impair the operational security of the entire network will be arranged.

User-side network activation, routine maintenance and fault troubleshooting services will remain available as normal.

II. Enhanced Monitoring and Inspection

The operation and maintenance team of the Information Technology and Data Intelligence Department(ITDID) will maintain extended on-duty shifts, increase the frequency of real-time monitoring and on-site inspections, and stand ready for emergency response at all times.

Should any abnormalities occur on the network or cloud platforms during this period, please contact the ITDID immediately. In principle, only operation and maintenance staff are permitted to enter IT CRF. Any other personnel requiring access must submit an application to the ITDID for approval.

III. Approved Time Window for Mandatory Modifications

If any adjustments to the campus network, IT CRF, cloud platform or related infrastructure services are truly necessary, departments shall fully assess the necessity of such changes.

For modifications deemed indispensable after rigorous evaluation, a formal implementation plan must be submitted. The work can only proceed upon approval by both the applicant department’s supervisor and the ITDID , and shall be carried out exclusively between 00:00 and 06:00; no changes are allowed at any other time.

All departments are required to strictly comply with the above provisions and refrain from conducting any restricted modifications or operations during the aforementioned period. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your full cooperation and support.
